Prato (“we”, “us”) is a meal-planning and macro-tracking app operated by EmprendeSoft LLC, a Wyoming, USA limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hola@prato-fitness.com.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and name, used to create and secure your account.
• Health & fitness details — height, weight, age, sex, activity level, and goal. We use these only to calculate your estimated calorie and macro targets. Macros are estimates, not medical advice.
• Food & diet data — the ingredients you add and the meals you log. This is the core product data that powers meal generation and tracking.
• Product usage & analytics — first-party events about how you use the app (for example, onboarding completed or a meal generated), used to improve the product.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing activity, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.

How we use your data

• To provide the core features: generating meals from your ingredients and tracking your macros.
• To compute your personalized calorie and macro targets from the health details you provide.
• To manage your account, subscription, and free trial.
• To understand activation and retention so we can improve Prato.

AI processing

To generate meal suggestions and estimate macros, Prato sends the ingredient and meal text you enter to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic and/or OpenAI). This text is processed to return a recipe and macro estimates. We do not send your name or email for this purpose.

Service providers we share data with

We rely on a small set of processors that handle data on our behalf, not for their own advertising:

• RevenueCat — validates your in-app purchase and tells us whether your subscription/trial is active.
• Apple & Google — process your subscription payment as the merchant of record; we never receive your card details.
• AI provider (Anthropic / OpenAI) — processes ingredient/meal text as described above.
• Email and hosting providers — deliver account emails and host the backend that stores your data.

Subscriptions & payments

Prato Pro is a subscription with a 7-day free trial, billed through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled by the stores, not by us. You can manage or cancel anytime in your device’s subscription settings; cancellation stops the next renewal.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hola@prato-fitness.com or using the in-app account-deletion option. We delete or anonymize your data after your request, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hola@prato-fitness.com.

Children

Prato is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
